Another year gone (almost) and another Scottish Learning Festival completed. I’m not really surprised to hear that, this year, the SLF has been nominated and won best Event in Scotland Award. A testament to the hard work and effort of everyone involved. Like many other delegates, I attended a variety of seminars and keynotes, some more interesting (for my person development) than others. I also had the pleasure (second year running) to speak at my own seminar. I’m really encouraged that the delegation is not simply the teaching profession but more widely represented by third sector organisations; a reflection, I would presume, on the positive and beneficial aspects of CfE and the partnership approach required to plan, deliver and embed. I wonder what the theme will be next year…
