I am Senior Manager Operations and Quality at the Institute of Chartered Accountants Scotland (ICAS), working globally with CA Education and Professional Learning. I am a Senior Teaching Fellow at The University of Glasgow and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

I’ve been teaching for 16+ years within mixed educational and policy settings as a Principal Teacher, two years seconded to The Scottish Government as National Data Lead for post-16 learning and five years as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Glasgow.

I was previously Head of Digital (Technology Enhanced Learning and Teaching) at the School of Education and Programme Validator for the Digital Schools Awards Scotland. I was national adviser on digital learning and teaching to Education Scotland and The Scottish Government, working in partnership with HP, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Microsoft and Intel.
